How do you copy a video with it's original name and format back onto the Sony DCR-SR42E?

When I have copied it onto the camcorders 30gb hard drive using the USB cable, the copied videos don't appear in the library with the rest. I recorded the videos with the same camcorder and only moved them onto my pc because I had run out of space. I need to put them back on now so that I can transfer them to DVD using my VCR/DVD recorder. I don't want to use my pc to burn them to DVD. Thanks for the help.
