Sony Handycam DCR-PC101 NTSC and Firewire 1394 port not able to upload videos?

Hi, so i have the camera and firewire listed above, i'm tryin to upload to my lenovo laptop with windows vista. This worked on my Dell laptop before it broke, but for some reason it wont work for this lenovo. It says i may be missing a driver, and when i try using windows movie maker to upload the videos, it says it cant detect the camera. Anyone know whats wrong and how i can fix it?
