Can i get a jewel cichlid?

i have a 55 gallon 210 litres i have a tank divider in at the moment because i am breeding German blue rams. But on the other side of the divider there is a peppermint bristlenose and some more rams just 3 2 are pretty large rams and the other one is small. If i just get 1 jewel cihclid will that be ok or will it kill my bristlenose ad rams. thanks
